This project involves upgrades to the central desk areas in two of Burlington Public Library's branches – Tansley Woods and Central Branch –  to improve the efficiency of the customer service areas.  An assessment and redesign of the work, circulation and self checkout areas illustrated the need for a new hybrid workstation.

Oak veneer and white quartz are employed as the main materials, and each desk is developed to express an independent character in concert with the existing architecture while also integrating new AODA standards. display niches, self checkout stations and librarian workstations.
