The renovations to the LBP Theatre include the modernization of the existing theatre space, acoustic and accessibility upgrades, new lighting and rigging, and the establishment of a new cultural identity for the theatre within a shared lobby.

Seizing the opportunity to better brand the theatre and create a communal space at the front of the theatre, Lebel & Bouliane proposed a bleacher stair at the main entrance to both signal the entry for the theatre, as well as create a community gathering space and functional waiting area. This dramatic architectural feature creates a new visual identity for the theatre in addition to creating public seating for informal performances, allowing the theatre to increase its programming and public presence within the existing space.

The new bleacher stair and theatre upgrades were developed in collaboration with the Brampton Theatre Accessibility Advisory Group, and feature accessible features that are integrated seamlessly into the design of the new interventions.
