This project involves the complete renovation and reprogramming of a post-war suburban home to suit the needs of two fun and adventurous clients as well as the design of a small addition atop the existing garage.
As is typical to the typology, the existing home features four split levels that, when opened up and interlaced through a new central stair sequence, create a dwelling that is both spatially complex and formally intriguing. New fenestration on the south facade and an overlook from the second floor not only helps to injects natural daylight deep into the home, but also opens the relocated dining room/kitchen out to a landscaped patio and pool.
